WSET Level 2 is perfect for: • Wine Enthusiasts and wine industry professionals seeking to build upon an intermediate wine experience level What you'll learn: • How to taste and describe wine using the WSET Level 2 Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine® (SAT) • How environmental factors, grape-growing, and winemaking options influence wines • How grape varieties and winemaking processes affect sparkling and fortified wines • Key labeling terms to indicate origin, style, and quality • Proper storage and service of wine • Food and wine pairing principles Registration includes: • 21 hours of world-class classroom instruction and the guided tasting of 43 quality wines • All exam fees, framable WSET certificate, and lapel pin upon successful course completion • All course materials All our classes are streamed live and recorded via Zoom for the maximum flexibility of our students. With 24 hours advance notice, we can bottle the wines tasted in class in sterilized 50ml samples for students to taste while watching the recording or live stream. Please contact us for more information Recommendations: We highly recommend that candidates without previous wine education or wine trade experience attend the WSET Level 1 in Wines before proceeding to Level 2.  We also advise that candidates dedicate at least 11 hours of private study outside of class.
