Taught by a world-class wine expert and Certified Sommelier, the comprehensive course spans six 3.5-hour live classroom sessions. Delve into every major Spanish wine region while tasting 36 curated wines. Endorsed by Spain’s Trade & Investment Government Agency, ICEX, the program caters to serious wine enthusiasts and industry professionals. Covering La Rioja, The Ebro River Valley, The Duero River Valley, and others, each wine is explored in its regional and cultural context, showcasing local landmarks and traditional cuisines. The program concludes with an in-person exam consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions from the official 315-page study manual. Passing students receive the coveted Spanish Wine Scholar lapel pin and certificate, with the option to add SWS to their professional signature. For whatever reason you are not able to attend the examination after the start of the course, we must charge a CHF 150 WSG Exam Rescheduling Fee. Exam Resits are CHF 200.
