Boutique Champagne Tasting

We will serve all the wine from MAGNUM BOTTLES, double the size of the regular Champagne bottles. The aromas, flavors, and consistency of the bubbles can vary significantly based on the size of the Champagne bottle, and you will have the opportunity to discover this yourself. Did you know that Veuve Clicquot produces 19 million bottles of Champagne annually? The Champagne Producers we feature are significantly smaller, family-run operations with some histories going back many generations.

We will use our MAPS FROM 1944 to help tell Champagne's story and leverage our special 3D MAP and soil samples to help visualize the region's landscape. Light appetizers will be served to complement the wines for the evening.

Joe, a Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Diploma Graduate, French Wine Scholar®, and future Master of Wine Student, will walk us through Champagne's rich history, culture, geography, and terroir. Additionally, Joe will bring his recent Champagne visits to life with stories from the small producers’ histories, grape growing and vinification methods, and detailed information about what makes each estate unique. Joe will conclude with a fun and interactive group activity to connect with the other attendees.
