Boutique Family Wineries of Napa Valley: Part 1 - Barlow Vineyards & Hagafen Cellars

We are incredibly privileged to host two boutique, family-owned wineries in Napa Valley:  Barlow Vineyards and Hagafen Cellars. You will have the opportunity to interact with the wineries' family members, including a winemaker, during this event on Thursday, 7 March 2024, 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm. The following evening, we will host a second event with two additional Napa small family vineyards. We assure you there will not be other opportunities like this in 2024! You can purchase one event ticket or the two-night series at additional savings.

During the event, you will taste six Napa Valley wines accompanied by light appetizers. We afford time at the start and conclusion of the event to get to know the other event participants and meet new wine-loving friends.  We pride ourselves in providing a judgment-free learning experience, and no prior wine knowledge is required!

Our event facilitator, Joe B, will partner with the representatives from both wineries to bring Napa Valley's history, unique terroir, and fantastic wines to life.  Joe earned his Certified Sommelier qualification from the Court of Master Sommeliers – Europe, achieved the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Level 4 Diploma in Wines from the, graduated from the Burgundy School of Business Wine & Spirits MBA Program, and is an Italian, French, Spanish, and Sherry Wine Scholar with the Wine Scholar Guild. Joe is preparing to further his wine education by pursuing admission into the Master of Wine Program and the Advanced Sommelier qualification.

We will host this experience at the Zürich Wine Academy, conveniently located at Werdstrasse 8, 8004 Zürich, only 50 meters from the Stauffacher tram station in central Zürich.

This MasterClass is exclusive, and space is limited to 14 participants. We do this to allow you to have an intimate discussion with our wine expert and to drive the conversation to topics you want to learn about and discuss. It's the ideal environment to learn, connect with like-minded people, and make new friends. Hope to see you there!
