Spanish Wine & Chocolate Tasting, Including One Wine from Vega Sicilia

🍷JOIN US🍫 for a Wine & Chocolate Tasting experience of Spanish wines, including a wine from Vega Sicilia, and unique chocolates produced by Northern Spain boutique chocolatiers on Thursday, 4 May 2023, at 6:30pm-8:30pm! Taste wine from Rueda, Toro, Cigales, Basque Country, and other wine-producing regions acquired during the most recent 500 Wineries expedition while pairing these wines with small-batch chocolates from the area. Light appetizers such as cheeses, vegetables, meats, and vegan-friendly options will also be provided.

Joe, a Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Diploma Graduate, Spanish Wine Scholar, and future Master of Wine Student, will walk us through Northern Spain’s rich history, culture, geography, and terroir. He will describe his first-hand experience from his recent visits to the region, shedding light on the producers’ unique winemaking and viticulture practices. Joe will leverage a special 3D MAP to help visualize the region’s landscape. Additionally, Joe will describe the chocolate-making process and what makes these small-batch chocolates and chocolatiers unique. He will also facilitate a fun and interactive group activity to connect you with the other attendees at the conclusion of the event.

We will host this tasting experience at Trust Square's event space, conveniently located 100 meters from Paradeplatz at 

Poststrasse 5-7, 8001 Zürich. Please look for the white Trust Square sign.

This tasting is exclusive, so space is limited. We do this to allow you to have an intimate discussion with the wine expert and to drive the conversation to topics you want to learn about and discuss.
