Taste from Down Under: Wines of Australia & New Zealand MasterClass

Experience all this and more at Zürich Wine Academy's Taste from Down Under: Wines from Australia & New Zealand MasterClass on Friday, November 3rd, 6:00pm – 9:30pm in our new Zürich location! We will taste seven wines during this experience and provide light refreshments, including vegan-friendly options. We afford time at the start and conclusion of the event to get to know the other event participants and meet new wine-loving friends.  We pride ourselves in providing a judgment-free learning experience, and no prior wine knowledge is required!

Our event facilitator, Joe B (also called “Joey” by his grandmother), will bring the wine regions of Australia and New Zealand to life with his extensive wine background. Joe earned his Certified Sommelier qualification from the Court of Master Sommeliers – Europe, achieved the Level 4 Diploma in Wines from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET), graduated from the Burgundy School of Business Wine & Spirits MBA Program, and is an Italian, French, Spanish, and Sherry Wine Scholar with the Wine Scholar Guild.  Joe is preparing to further his wine education by pursuing admission into the Master of Wine Program and the Advanced Sommelier qualification in the future.

We will host this experience at the new Zürich Wine Academy at Werdstrasse 8, 8004 Zürich. The Academy is only 50 meters from the Stauffacher tram station, across from the FCZ Fanshop.

This MasterClass is exclusive, and space is limited to 12 participants. We do this to allow you to have an intimate discussion with our wine expert and to drive the conversation to topics you want to learn about and discuss. It's the ideal environment to learn, connect with like-minded people, and make new friends. Hope to see you there!
